What changed

  • detects whether the Game Filter mode actually changed
  • reads the currently installed strategy from the zapret service registry value
  • offers to reinstall the service using the same strategy
  • reuses the service installation logic instead of duplicating argument parsing
  • handles missing services and missing strategy files

Why

Game Filter values are expanded into the service binPath during installation. Restarting the existing service keeps the old arguments, so changing the filter previously required a manual reinstall.

Validation

  • git diff --check
  • static invocation: cmd /d /v:on /c "call service.bat load_game_filter"
  • Windows Service commands were not run in this environment.
